Accuform has developed and now offers the technology for vinyl siding production. The technology is the strength of Accuform because it provides the customer with more than tooling and equipment, we provide the know-how. The technology includes:

PVC formulations for postformed profiles.
US standards for vinyl formulations.
Quality control testing procedures.
Postform extrusion training.
Management methods and key material for postforming production.
Manufacturing, reporting and quality control computer software.

Postforming currently uses only thermoplastics. When the material is heated, the forces between the molecular chain are weakened so that it becomes soft and flexible and eventually at elevated temperatures it is viscous melt. When allowed to cool it becomes solid again.
